Ron Jourard is a criminal defence lawyer. His
practice focuses on defence of driving-related charges including impaired and dangerous driving. However,
he defends all charges under the Criminal Code and other laws.
Mr. Jourard was called to the bar in Ontario
after completing an LL.B. at the University of Western Ontario.
He was also called to the bar in Israel after graduating with
an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Earlier, he
received an M.A. in Islamic history from the University of Toronto.
Mr. Jourard has also worked as a journalist.
He copy edited and wrote for The Jerusalem Post, an English-language
daily newspaper in Jerusalem. He left the paper in 1989 and returned
to Canada.
Mr. Jourard speaks English and Hebrew.
